Jerome Increase Case founded his threshing machine
company in 1842. By the late 19th century, Case was
one of the largest builders of steam engines, traction
engines, threshing machines and other harvesting
equipment. The J.I. Case Threshing Machine Company
set a standard of excellence and reliability in the farm
equipment industry.
The J.I. Case Heritage Foundation was begun in 1987
with the goal of promoting and preserving our
agricultural heritage, specifically Case items. Members
enjoy finding, restoring and exhibiting Case machinery
from bygone eras. Old Case literature, toys and scale
replicas of Case equipment are also collected. The J.I.
Case Foundation welcomes all members, regardless of
his or her interests -- as long as it is Case related!
